How much beef should I buy?
A family of four will go through approximately a half of beef in one year with moderate usage (eating beef an average of 3 meals per week).
Based on this estimate:
2 people: ¼ of a beef with light to moderate usage per year
4 people: ¼ of a beef with light usage, or ½ of a beef with moderate usage per year.
6 people: ½ of a beef with light usage, or a whole beef with moderate usage per year.
*Our family of 4 easily goes through a whole beef per year, but this includes serving beef at numerous dinners throughout the year for 6+ people.
